About This Program

Basic Eligibility

To be considered, you'll generally need to meet all of the following. These are checked in the first step of the application:

Age 21–29
U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
BMI between 19 and 28 (calculated from your height and weight)
No tobacco or nicotine use in the past 12 months
No new tattoos or piercings in the past 12 months
No history of drug abuse or alcoholism
No major criminal conviction or current legal dispute
No antidepressant use in the past 12 months
Regular menstrual cycle; not currently breastfeeding
No severe genetic disease in your immediate family
Willing to complete a medical exam and genetic carrier screening

What the Process Involves

Initial screening: health history, reproductive health questionnaire, and hormone testing where applicable
Medical exam, infectious-disease (STD/STI) testing, and genetic carrier screening — required by our program
Psychological evaluation (including a counselor meeting), drug toxicology screening, and a background check — required by our program
If matched, roughly a 4–6 week hormone medication cycle under a fertility doctor's supervision, with regular bloodwork and ultrasound monitoring
Travel logistics for your monitoring and retrieval visits — including how many clinic visits are needed and how long each takes — will be confirmed with you by the participating clinic for your specific program
Egg retrieval is an outpatient procedure done under sedation, followed by a short recovery period
You'll be asked to abstain from intercourse during the cycle and for 15 days after retrieval
Any follow-up testing after your cycle will be explained by the participating clinic for the applicable program
This is a multi-month process from application to retrieval — not a one-time or instant transaction

Medical Risks

Egg donation involves real medical risks, including possible reactions to fertility medications (such as ovarian hyperstimulation) and the risks inherent to any outpatient surgical procedure performed under sedation. Our medical team will review your health history and discuss risks with you in detail before your cycle begins. We encourage you to also seek independent medical or legal advice. Not every applicant is approved, and this process is not risk-free.

Compensation

Compensation for the egg donor program ranges from US$10,000 to US$100,000. Your specific compensation and payment terms will be set out in the applicable written agreement. Applying does not guarantee acceptance or the maximum compensation. The participating clinic will explain the medical process and schedule for the applicable program.

Egg donation involves a screening process. Not all potential egg donors are selected. Not all selected egg donors receive the monetary amounts or compensation advertised. As with any medical procedure, there may be risks associated with human egg donation. Before an egg donor agrees to begin the egg donation process, and signs a legally binding contract, she is required to receive specific information on the known risks of egg donation. Consultation with your doctor prior to entering into a donor contract is advised.

Privacy & Future Identifiability

We treat your information as confidential, limiting access to our medical team and, at the matching stage and with your consent, selected intended parents. That said, we cannot promise permanent anonymity: consumer DNA testing services and public genealogy databases mean donor-conceived people may be able to identify biological relatives later in life, regardless of the identity preference you select on your application. Please consider this carefully before applying.

Voluntary Participation

Participation is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any stage, and completing this application does not commit you to anything or guarantee medical approval.
